The last Semester at IT witnessed and gave rise to nostalgic feelings among the students of all branches. The feeling of separation is more marked among students of the same branch. Everyone was out reminiscing the happy, sad, eventful and memorable days and events during the course of their stay at BHU. It is hard to forget these events and more important the guys and girls behind them. To take us back to those days and keep the memories alive and fresh, a plan was mooted to start the first ever IT Souvenir dedicated to Comp. Sc. batch of 1999. There was a tremendous response after an initial lull, and quality articles poured in. Some were lucid, some profound, some eulogistic, other scathing, but all attempted to describe individual characteristics and relive those days and in a positive way. The Souvenir was unfortunate to meet a dead end due to various reasons. But the light had not died down and some emanating force drove me to this end. I decided to not let go waste the efforts of our great writers and came up with this online version of the Souvenir. I hope it lives upto some extent the expectation of my colleagues and is a source of inspiration for batches to come.
